Saw this Canadian Jem this afternoon. It looks about the same size as a Ford Escape/ Forester/ CRV/Rav-4. Bonus lynx in the background.
I kinda like it.

They’re not sold where you are?
There’s a new model now:

No, we get the Xterra, Pathfinder, and Rogue. The pathfinder and rogue are now jelly bean shaped blob cars. It looks like the X-Trail just got replaced by the Rogue.

They had them here in the UK and they looked quite nice, though the third gen is literally just a Rogue.
Random side note: They also made a hydrogen cell version of the old X-Trail.

We get the Xtrail (new one) as the Rogue here in North America.

Fun fact, that gen of Xtrail has a center gauge cluster:

They rust like they’re made of metal and occasionally get wet. except the fenders, they’re plastic.

What I like about the older X-Trail compared to the new one is that it was actually somewhat off road capable, I remember an episode of fifth gear where it was better than a RAV4 and a CR-V at off roading.
And this roof rack with lights built in was really cool:
Edit: found the video but in a horrible quality:

It seems like a Ford Escape competitor, which sold very well in the US and is very meh. It’s fun to see something different in the parking lot though.
